Bet365 gave me a free £5 bet yesterday for the 1st race. I stuck it on some 14-1 shot, which led all the way until just before the end and seconds after the £30 cash out option vanished.
    Cunts.
Still, got my own back on the Bayern game last night. After Olise got (deliberately) booked for time wasting to miss the 2nd leg I suspected Kimmich would try the same. Had a fiver at 28/1. That'll do (nods).

    Is Ingo there?

IIRC I got the impression it was a bastion for cunts when they kept it open back in 2020 when covid hit, with Iain Duncan Smith saying the "common sense of the great British Public" would mean that it'd be just fine, or summat like that.

Anyway Favori De Champdo up next in the 15:20.

Seen a police appeal for a missing person which is a former neighbour of ours. We haven't lived on the street for more than a decade and certainly weren't close to him, but feel really sad about it given we lived opposite the bloke for the best part of 15 years. He kept himself to himself mostly but was friendly and used to make a fuss of Little Miss BW (they shared the same birthday).

He hasn't been seen since 12 February when his car was apparently driven to Sawley Marina very early in the day and abandoned, which doesn't sound at all good.

Very sorry to hear that. The fact that it took a month for anyone to notice he was 'missing' is also a bit of a sad fact.

True. It's strange because, while he lived alone, he was (when we were neighbours at least) very active. He played five-a-side with the same group of guys two or three times a week, went to the gym frequently and worked full-time as a nurse.

I can't understand why nobody realised they'd not seen him for weeks.
