I watched the game on Monday and the commentator made a big deal, repeatedly, after the 4th went in, about us scoring 8 with our last 9 shots on target. Which, I accept, doesn't count the (many) blocked shots but both Hutchinson and Wood had shots saved by their keeper, so why wouldn't one them count?

Oh, of course, it's the og, isn't it? Doesn't count as a shot on target, same as Braga beating us without having any shots on target.

It's amazing to think it's not that long since we went about 90 shots at home without scoring.
Then again it's amazing to think I'll be sitting down to watch Forest in a European semi final on Thursday, particularly having also sat down this season to watch Forest lose at Swansea and Wrexham.

Finally catching up on this. I actually fell asleep again (in my office chair) after a very long week, so the match passed me by entirely. This means I've fallen asleep for all nine of our last goals. Wasn't even planning on a wank this time round -- at best some lewd thoughts about a cute young thing whose number I'd gotten the night before. Anyway, I guess I'll save noshing myself off with a hoover in a darkened room with no internet for the Europa league final.

Well I did originally join this forum years ago, in my formative years.

(when IIRC there was even a Yeovil fan who hoovered for us at one point)

Was Yeovil Chris real. Always assumed it was an alter ego of someone else on here?

Yeovil Chris wasn't the OG hooverer. That was Lloyd Christmas. I think.

Yeovil Chris was the amateur photographist pin badge aficionado. Or something.

I agree. Was far too strident on the whole badge thing

I think he started coming when Yevoli got promoted to division 3, with us already there and he got little bit excited about the prospect of watching his lot play at the WFCG against the likes of Nicky Eaden and Gino Padula.

Understandably dizzying times for the Wurzels.
