That is a beautiful little article too. The love of music, community and watching all types of Football not just Forest. She was so young too. i miss the days of traveling around the country to see the team and meeting the mad mongs who did the same. i doubt I will be able to do that again unless I escape America if it it goes further down the rabbit hole of Cuntitude. For the time being, keep these articles going and maybe I can sneak some looks at the digitized Brain fanzines that the Leftlion were putting together.

Another piece that makes me miss visiting home. I really should try and visit more often.

    Chicago: Nostalgic.

Talking of visits, I'll be in Chicago in mid-April. Will coordinate dates with you.

I had a bit of a chat with Jules about the digitised Brian's. I had a way of making them broadly available, and archiving them as a wider open source resource. She wanted to stand by the leftlion project, so I wont be doing that.

Passed on the news about Jules to some of the football lads who had drunk with her over the years. Shocked and sombre would be the description of the general mood. What a load of cack.

Was just checking this thread again for the funeral details as Mrs Rave and I will be there. I couldn't make Dubya's or Dom's funeral. Won't be missing another one.
Happened to Google Jules to see if there were any more stories about her. Stumbled across this, should anyone be unable to attend but would like to watch the stream and / or donate.

agree. Incredibly moving. I seem to have something in my eyes the moment the hearse arrived and the flags came out.

So much more to learn about the her incredible life. She really was one of a kind.

Good to see you all again as well.

Slightly random question for those who were there yesterday - there was a late middle aged guy there with a grey beard, long curlyish grey hair with bandana and wearing glasses. Frankly looked a bit like an ageing rocker. I'm asking because as he passed Mrs Rave in the pub he gave her a smile that she felt was a 'hello, even though you won't remember me'. She has after all worked extensively in the arts, darling.
Of course it could just have been that Mrs Rave looked amazing - as always - and he was chancing his smile.
I think there were a couple of Pogues kicking around. Was he one of them?
