In the chaos of the BC/TE corner, it's not very clear which of the three possible stands each of the queues is feeding. I'm not convinced that turning them into 6 queues is going to help much anyway.

Yeah that's where I normally go in too, agree it's unclear and chaotic.

Yeah they need to manage queues better front and back. Same at the other end of the Upper Clough.

If they had the space, it would make sense to set up a perimeter for checks rather than having that happen right in front of the turnstiles. As I always said, should have moved to Toton.

I've only been to one game this season, against Spurs. We had tickets in the safe standing section of Upper Bridgford which (it turns out) you get to via a turnstile in the corner of Bridgford and BC stands. Rocking up in classic tourist mode we didn't know where to go, so we asked some "stewards" who said they weren't local and didn't know anything about the layout of the ground. That feels like a weakness in the process really. In the end another steward told us to join a very long queue, so we did. When we got near the front of it we could see that it was heading to the wrong turnstiles and the one we wanted had a handful of people queueing for it. I mean it wasn't the end of the world, but having people marshalling the crowd who know the layout and access points might help the flow a bit.

Yeah that bit is stupid. I've done exactly the same as you before. The next time I just walked to the front and cut through to the upper WB standing queue (which was tiny).

At the Arsenal game, the queues for the Main Stand were long, grumpy and being yelled at by a steward with a megaphone who, in no uncertain terms, reminded everybody to have their digital tickets ready. You could feel the crowd bristle at her tone. It would only have taken one person to have started off a "You can stick your megaphone up your arse" and there would have been a riot. I did think about it.
