You do remember that this first half that you think was some stunning demonstration of the manager's worth ended with us going in behind, right? No, I'm not giving much credit to the team and tactics, because not much of either were on display. We had a shit ton of possession that we didn't do much with, created a couple of opportunities thanks mostly to Morgan's individual talent that we didn't score from in part because our star summer signing is quite shit, and then surrendered. Second half Palace adjusted and completely dominated us, while our overpaid fraud of a manager wandered around the technical area wondering what he was going to have for dinner.
The fact that you think that last week's performance is any kind of positive sign or vindication of the club's trajectory is an issue.
It was already a questionable choice before we'd kicked a ball under him, there's a reason he spent the summer whoring himself around and everyone declined. I don't "make up my mind", I hold a current position based on the available evidence to date. If we suddenly turn into a football powerhouse sweeping all before us then I will change my position accordingly, but based on what we've seen so far it's an unfolding disaster that will continue to hurt us long after he has been fired.
