Ah, wrong News thread...
Yes, Tranmere. Though the goal no longer seems to be available online in the 30 seconds I spent looking for it.
And also scored this goal in the Aussie league 1min into coverage. (And I have now spent more than enough time looking through Dadi “highlights” in my life…
Neco signs to 2030.
Very good to get that done as he really didn’t sound sure where he would be post Liverpool. Could have just been guarded in what was saying as didn’t want to slip up but I thought he was off.
Perfect, great news
The idea he would be sold this window was always very far fetched.
Percy reports that Edu has had his contract terminated.
Well, we can't say he didn't have an impact in his time here.
I think there has to be more to it than it got a bit messy. Was Edu just using his super agent for transfers? His remit was to dictate style of play for a three club club umbrella. The fact that we had four managers (one who just used him as an excuse to get a massive pay cheque and run somewhere else), must have made it difficult. His daughter dating Douglas Luiz May have been a problem too.
The whole thing seemed a bit weird. I suspect that it is a mixture of the two and job performance suffered because of undue influences. Yet EM and KIA (said super agent) were looking into buying Botafogo together.. so who the hell knows.
Maybe The mad Greek is just that. Mental as a box of rocks. Or maybe he is sane and we are all lumbered with unrealistic expectations that makes him feel he has to make an example to appease the frothing fan base ((c) tricky)).
Chicago: Sitting in my back garden.
Off to Scunthorpe tonight to see the new-look B-team in action. Hoping McDonnell and Schluter play.
Definitely an eighties cop buddy film.
0-1 ht. playing 3-4-2-1. Started well, hit post, all Scunny after that. Conceded from a set piece (everyone marking big lads at back, whipped to near post and glanced in by scunnys smallest player). All forest since goal, Clarke denied by good save.
No Schluter, but McDonnell playing. Been pretty anonymous.
And now 2-0 down.
Point of information. I didn't realise that Scunthorpe are no longer in the EFL and sit 21st in the National League.
L2-1. a team of good technical academy footballers, great on the ball, but beaten by more experienced players.
Cov ticket listed on the exchange picked up after a two and a half days.
