I was looking forward to yesterday’s podcast. I then saw, not only was it Barry G, but also Steve Battlemuch. Luckily Barry’s droning on sent me to sleep so I did not endure too much of it.
Surely Matt Davies has to realise that is his worse possible pairing. Save them for some meaningless pre-season or the international break. Not for the last few days of the transfer window just before we play Liverpool.

Hate to agree with the Pete Blackburn ultras but I saw who was on and didn't bother with that one.

I don't mind Battlemuch too much. Though prefer him when he's talking about ground developments than the matches.

Never quite sure why Battlemuch is continually asked about it. He's a back-bench city councillor who will have nothing directly to do with the ground development, which is being handled by Rushcliffe Borough Council anyway.

Because he seems to read every single planning application document in great detail I think.

Last couple of times I've heard him speak about it on the podcast, he's offered nothing of any value that wasn't already known or in the public domain.

Hard disagree. He’s a pub bore, he has no knowledge or insight to impart on our squad and certainly not on anyone else’s. If I want ill-informed bullshit, I can log-on to Talkback.
And live updates on planning applications hardly make podcast gold.
