The current rule is fine - I’m very supportive of it. I was talking about Shady taking season tickets off people who don’t attend, even if they list it.
If the club are serious about rewarding loyal supporters, then someone listing say 70% of their tickets every year shouldn't be keeping their season ticket for the following year. There's a huge waiting list.
What makes you think those on the waiting list are any more loyal?
At least those who have had season tickets for years, have had season tickets for years. Ya know, sort of, err, loyal.
Is what you mean that we need to winkle out those who have had a heart attack, and cancer treatment, so that more jonny come lately tourists can get a ticket that they can sell to the resale sites?
But you are saying that if personal circumstances made it difficult for me to attend for a year, you'd take the seat that I've had since the stand was opened 32 years ago, off me... in the name of loyalty?
Although on the flip side one of my mates barely went last season and listed his for most games as his partner is a bit hard work and if she was doing anything he had to look after the dog (?!).
I don't think Guru really gives a good fuck either way about what the great unwashed peasants who clamour and fight to pay to queue up and sit on top of each other and swap diseases think.
I will take/pay for any kind of ticket. Great unwashed to prawn sandwiches….
But Ingo is right….I do have (fairly strong) views on the ticket chat. But I’m trying to be less of a cunt at the moment. So I will keep them to myself.
I can see the obvious appeal -- even moreso with that white top that Glasner's sported -- and of course the historical connotations. But I've never been able to bring myself to buy Adidas track suits because my immediate and irrevocable thoughts run to "gopnik" chic. I'm a Nike man.
