Part of me hopes that whenever Guru watches Arse on TV and hears North London Forever he responds with 'fuck off back to Plumstead'. With or without the la la las. Or any references to Dial Square.
Probably not.
'Fun' fact - my maternal grandfather (who died before I was born) worked in the Woolwich Arsenal during the war, Rodders.
Boer?
I've no idea how interesting he was.
Percy still waving Edu out of the door.
Assuming it's true, I really hope someone has a handle on our recruitment/selling plans for the summer.
Because at the moment, we need to planning for four possible scenarios. With, according to Opta, probabilities of 6%, 63%, 27% and 3%. (Staying up is the first two, champions league is the first and last. )
Not just Percy, But the BBC
Of course, it’s Marinakis’ fault. We all know that. He was seduced by North London (Forever) glamour in Edu and Ange. He’s found out the hard way…

Manchester City are close to completing a deal to sign England midfielder Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest. (Teamtalk)
Anderson favours a move to City over neighbours Manchester United, but Nottingham Forest value the 23-year-old at more than £70m. (Talksport)
Gibbs White and Anderson both gave Pep friendly, knowing greetings after the match. I don't see either staying beyond the summer, and I think we probably need the money to rebuild.
MGW isn't good enough for City IMHO

He has fire but not control. Works for someone like us but doesn't have the patience for Citeh.
Dispassionately, looking at someone like Bernardo Silva play is a joy. The control, trickery and purpose.
Anderson is every inch a City player. Gibbs-White is totally the wrong fit, for me.

Looks like a Rhodri replacement doesn't he.
Anderson would be a very good fit in that side. And would probably play a lot. Rodri (he’s Spanish, not Welsh) is not the player he was.
Apparently Nuno is suing Forest over his dismissal.
Meanwhile on the Socialz:
Sean Dyche has slammed his Nottingham Forest sacking as 'madness', saying he is still ‘scratching his head’ at the decision
🗣️: “Well, I don’t [understand], statistically and factually, no emotion to it, if you look at the stats and facts – even after the last game, against Wolves. Our current form at that time was ninth in the Premier League.
“The stats and facts were there, clear as day. From my record, from when we got there to when we ended, we’d have been 12th in the Premier League.
“So on factual data and analysis, I can’t understand any of the decisions that were made. But football is changing, and we witnessed it.
“The bigger picture with football now is it’s like selling chocolate teapots. People come out with these stories about how ‘we’re this club’. You go: ‘No, you’re not. You’ve had one good season in 30 odd.’
“You’re trying to remind the fanbase – this is where the keyboard warriors get really powerful, by the way – of the truth of what it is rather than what you think it is. It’s very difficult now.”
“I’m scratching my head. Me and my staff were going: ‘Well, we’ve got all the data, the stats and facts.’ Lowest physical performing team in the Premier League when we took over, so what do you want me to do then? Not get them fitter? I mean, it’s just madness, right?”
Sounds pretty reasonable to me.
