What are we going to do about the lying fascists funded by malign foreign actors to destabilise our country?

    Economic growth
    Growing debt
    High taxation
    Cost of living
    Defence spending
    And trains of course!

Off the top of my head.

What issues did he solve, I saw the triple lock becomes a double lock (and isn't it inflation that has been the upward driver of pensions value which remains in the lock) and something vague about not paying for care homes at time of use?

No. Pensions were linked to inflation before the triple lock. The figures I’ve seen referenced are that, under the proposed approach, pensions would have been 11% lower today. In the 16 years since the triple lock was introduced, earning have been used 6 times (and they ignored them as the criteria in 2022 because the number would have been too high).

I believe that he said, and I paraphrase, that it was a completely fucking brain dead thing to have done that has brought only bad.

Indeed, intrigued by what our negotiating position is based on. Saying please and pretty please a lot maybe

Tbf, our best approach so far.
Certainly beats Davies and “we hold all the cards” and Boris's “they’ll come begging to us”.

Well it seems the latest attempt to disrupt the mid-term elections involves lots of white powder being delivered to state representatives. It was our turn today when loads of police and hazmat response teams turned up just outside the gym. Illinois state rep Mike Quigley (in congress) has an office one door down from us.

And so the false flag bullshit begins....

Why do the mid terms matter as doesn't Trump just do what he wants via executive orders bypassing the houses?

He's currently doing things through executive orders that aren't in his purview (tariffs, for one) because the Repulicans don't challenge him. If they aren't controlling both houses that, at least, becomes harder.

Also control of the senate allows republican supreme court justices to retire and be replaced with 12 year olds. (Although they could still do that between November and January, I think.)

Russ is still the maddest man in Canada

Because it seems Canadians aren't as stupid as the Trump administration thought they were (allegedly).

If only the U.K. could have thought about this before being all sorts of thick back in the day.. (2016).

Do Brexiteers think a 75% to 25% vote is as emphatic as 52% to 48%?
