Talking of Essex, the second train derailment in as many days has just happened there apparently.
Proof if it were needed that electing Nazis does not, in fact, result in the trains running on time.
Good news about the trains. I'm about to get one back up North with the family.
The BBC said stuff about Donald Trump that he didn't like, so he sued them for defamation and asked for a very large amount of money. The BBC said that they were only telling the truth and that they didn't believe he lost any money as a result of them doing so, and as part of the normal legal practice they would like to see his full finances so he can show them where it cost him money. An American judge that he appointed surprisingly agreed to this, so the case was completely coincidentally moved to a brand new judge who was also appointed by him. Donald apparently didn't realise that the BBC a) isn't governed by the FCC and b) is required by its charter to defend any legal action that it thinks is unmerited or unjustified, so now the only way out is for him to drop the case.
He's trying to change the parameters of the case so that he doesn't have to disclose as much detail.
In a ruling on Thursday, the judge said the order for financial information disclosure would be paused until the amendment question is resolved.

I'm unsure if anything has changed since then?
