Deserved a point. Delap and McAtee were excellent. Wood should have shot or set up Kalimuemdo.

We did well there, defended very well until Sangare didn’t bother to clear it.
And then should have scored. Wood dithered, Murillo did fantastic but then should have buried it.
And yet again absolutely nothing from it.
It shouldn’t really have mattered, but it does given our inability to beat the shit we’ve played in previous games.
It’s going to be a very tough season.
Delap was excellent. As was willians. Dom in the team was the right call. Wood two years ago would have buried that. I don't know why he took a touch.
We went toe to toe with them but just don't have the quality to push us over the edge. Much better performance all way round as Arsenal let us play unlike other teams who will adjust their tactics to counter us.
Didn't deserve to lose but again when you play against generally better squads you better take your chances. If Murillo had scored that then probably goal of the season...
Yup. This is typical Forest.
Better than last week if it's any consolation. Oh and Wifey has managed to give me the Covid cunt for the first time just to make my day better.
Chicago: Yay.
Think Raya caught more corners today than Sels has in his entire forest career.
Had to laugh when he faked to come for the ball, then just fell back. Fooling nobody.
Delap will be lucky if he gets 8 goals. Think he is dog shit, never looks like scoring. Yes holds it up well but given no one on the team can hit a meaningful shot on target that's all a bit pointless.
Hope he gets lucky then, because to me he looks the most likely of our forwards to score.
I don't think my statement and yours are incompatible.
A big fuck off to Michael Oliver who felt our grappling a was far worse than Arsenals on corners (it wasn’t). And a massive fuck off to the linesman who flagged Ndoye offside on the 72 min, given they always let the play continue I’ve no idea why he didn’t here. There was two playing him on.
I don't know why he has a reputation as a top ref.... Except that it's a really low bar.
It doesn't really matter if they are bent, or psychologically unconsciously biased enough to affect the outcome of games. The simple fact is that they do. VAR, or re-refereeing a limited and pivotal number of actions doesn't help. It often just reinforces the bias. Intentionally or otherwise.
That NDoye offside looked tight. Could not understand why they didn't play on and review
Seeing as the plan seemed to be for him hold it up and bring others into play, which he did, i thought he did pretty well. Bullied his way into some opportunities one of which needed a decent fingertip save.
To be fairer, agree he does his role well. It's just noone has the role of actually scoring and that's him too.
But I'm being harsh critiscing him for not being able to create chances and then also score them all by himself.
The quick turn and throw for CHO to set up Wood was brilliant thinking. But it then needed Delap to teleport to where Wood was to score.

Wasn't tight, it was on. I was fuming. They are meant to play on and see what happens.
My thoughts: a good performance that deserved at least a point; Delap led the line very well; Dominguez was decent but we really missed MGW; we also missed Jesus; defence was pretty sound and Diomande is coming along well; the crowd was up for it; the ref did his job as a top six appointee; Arsenal got a flukey winner, the sort of rub of the green that isn’t going our way at the moment; we won’t finish in the top 8 but we’ll be ok… eventually.
