Dover?
Michail Antonio joins Watford.
Our boy Morato playing our former boys O'Brien and Worrall tonight.
I've just remembered that Morato was in last season's Europa League team of the year.
That was quite funny. Though I will primarily remember him for his musical statue defending routine whenever an opponent ran at him - exhibit a) Fester's 2nd goal in the 2-2 draw that fucked our Championsandfriends league qualification. Even though that game will be more remembered for Taiwo hitting the post with himself and The Fat Controller charging onto the field at the end of the game to confront the assistant ref / confront Nuno / some other reason.
Morato assist
For which team?
Bowen scored. To quote the commentator, 'Worrall never saw him (Bowen) coming".
I always though JW was a good last ditch defender, but if he was better at reading the game he wouldn't get to the last ditch.
There was always an issue with running out of ditches.
He is (or certainly was) a high-end Championship centre-back. He just lacks the pace and mobility to be able to do it consistently in the Premier League.
Primark Jamie Carragher
I think the pace and mobility are okay...it's more the reading/positioning and decision making for me. And concentration...he goes flat footed and gets done by the late run, or does something daft like push up when he should be dropping.
We at least got that one game away at Chelsea in our first season up where he was absolutely imperious.
