Have we had any other current or past players who have been world cup finalists?
I just noticed Montiel starts for the Vargies. Is he the first (ex) Forest player ever to do so?
Danilo is being linked with Man U and Newcastle.
Britt Assombalonga now confirmed for Harborough Town. Quite a coup for that level. But good players are prepared to play at lower levels these days as there is decent money about.
Anderson's move to shitty confirmed today. I like him as a player, and as a person, but of course he is now dead to me.
I’m still amazed that many of the biographies of Anderson seem to totally ignore his time with us.
Happy with that. Looking forward to them being relegated 230 divisions.
Palace lost 3-0 at Bromley today. It seems Brennan did not impress. At some point some club will realise he's not a winger but a second striker. Not sure there's a space for him at this level though, as everyone plays with one up front.
Makes McAteer look like Geoff Capes.
I used to hang around a bit with Geoff Capes' son Lewis when I was a teenager.
He was a bit crazy.
Did he ever wear a cape?

Corrected!
Actually I should've asked if he ever wore a superhero...

Geoff Capes went to the same dentist as me in the 80s. He was a cop in Huntingdon or something.
Yes he used to live in Holbeach, a village near Spalding where I grew up, then moved into Spalding (or on the outskirts heading towards Pinchbeck).
Watching Brigg Town this evening. As is Terry Curran.
