I think he could have been better than ok if he'd had some decent game time and we'd found a settled position for him.
But meh. The strength of my feeling on this meant I could barely be arsed writing this message.

Likewise. Seemed like a nice young man. They mostly are. Always seemed like a bang average journeyman to me. Now at Rotheringham.
**"The teenager is the son of the former Rotherham United, Chesterfield, Wigan Athletic and Nottingham Forest centre back, Ian Breckin.
Upon signing for Wanderers, Kian played 24 times for the Manchester City PL2 side during the 2022/23 season, where he scored 11 goals.
Additionally, following Bloomfield’s appointment as Wanderers boss in February, the 39-year-old has regularly attended matches featuring the North West side to keep close tabs on the central midfielder."**
Standard of this writing. Jesus wept.
Indeed. Not so much as a 'swoop' or 'link up' to be seen anywhere.
Also, I didn't even know PL2 was a thing. Or if I did I'd forgotten. Are we in it? I assume it's based on academy category or somesuch...
Yes, we are in it from this season I think?
EDIT: I'm getting confused with that cup thing.
PL2 is just the league for category 1 academies.
Changed from this season to a single division where everyone doesn't play everyone else, previously a two division league with promotion and relegation. Think we failed to get promoted to the top division, because Leeds picked a bunch of ringers (Rutter their record signing might have been eligible but playing him seems to go against the intent of thing) but that now matters not.
Taking his 20 goals to lincoln.
Has he got to 20 career goals yet?
He's got out of D*rby, so that's probably one achieved at least.
69 goals in 147 starts and 97 substitute appearances.
13 goals since he left us 3 years ago. 1 goal last season. I'd be surprised if he was still playing league football in England in a couple of years.
At one point he went on loan to Portsmouth, perhaps from Coventry, and for some reason the Pompey fans absolutely despise him.
Probably to do with not being from Pompey and not expressing his wishing he was.
Most people weren’t happy when he left, I thought he was another overrated academy product. Hopefully he does well back at Lincoln.
The Derby joke was good, I'd quit whilst you are ahead here.
