On a recent long drive I caught up with a couple of episodes of Undr The Cosh. One was the interview with Lyle Taylor, I fully expected to not like him but he's a remarkably articulate and intelligent man. I don't agree with everything he said or did, but he really comes across as a very thoughtful, decent and honest man. He was surprisingly warm towards Forest even though it sounds like we treated him pretty badly in some ways.

He was funny when asked about Mr Marinakis, and he does refer to him the whole time as Mr Marinakis. You should listen yourself because it's very interesting, but essentially he said that the big man has an absolute aura about him and that he's a genuinely scary individual just by his presence.

Our claims director has met Marinakis a few times.

One notable occasion in his office in Greece when he was extremely polite and told his secretary not to put any calls through.

They all sit on the sofas and 10 minutes later the phone rang. He answers and talks a bit then call ends. He goes outside to his PA and though the closed door our guys here him going mental about the call being put though. Returns to the room as If nothing had happened sits down and continued talking.

Saw Taiwo missed a decent chance against Man City on Saturday. Still gave the commentator to roll out the old "got to force the keeper to make a save" as if it's better to just dumbly hit it at Donnarumma, in the hope he jumps out of the way, than to go for the corner and miss slightly.

Saw that chance too and thought it was classic Taiwo - a decent, but not great, Premier League striker.

Unsure that's what the commentator meant, though. Not suggesting it's better to shoot wildly rather than aim for a corner, but more that the attempt does actually need to be on target. Whether or not the goalkeeper keeps it out is down to his skill and instinct, but surely better to force him to make a save than miss the frame of the goal altogether?

The pace and power Taiwo has to create that chance was exciting though. He literally ran through the Citeh defence like an Exocet missile and then and I can relate had too much time to think. I still think he would have been useful with us. He might very well bag enough goals to keep Coventry up. His chaos theory way of playing does create a lot of chances.

Forest without him don’t really create much. We have better finishers for certain but you cannot finish if you don’t have any chances which seems to be the case at the moment.

Let’s hope he Doesn’t have a worldy against us. Our boys will know what to expect and that is the unexpected. This is assuming he is not injured of course.

Chicago: Always a forever a Taiwo fan.
