He’s probably got his mortgage paid off so one assumes he’s got a price at which he’s willing to do the work, and a level at which he’s willing to do it, and if nobody wants to meet him where he wants to be then he’s happy enough to do something else.
I like it when you see players happily bombing down the leagues after their serious career is done… or bobbing around the tinpot leagues of the lesser world (like the A-League) but most don’t really seem to fancy that.. and I don’t blame them. It’s hard work.. unless you’ve got Harry Arter’s agent.
