Most Brits don't know the difference between Great Britain and the British Isles.

See Wales are playing NI tonight. Hopefully Neco is rested, as it's a non-competitive game.

What a pointless game given they are already out. The players must be depressed and annoyed. Nobody is going to be up for it.

Mince, those guys are professionals footballers. They give 100% every time they play. Talkback has told me this.

Definitely. They will be desperate to get out there and smash someone, to get their frustrations out.

By far the most entertaining subplot of this game is that the NI manager is Michael O'Neill, who is also Blackburn's manager. Isaac Price is one of his options to play in centre mid tonight. Price is also the heart of West Brom's midfield, and Blackburn play West Brom this weekend.

Guess who isn't getting subbed off. Maybe he'll get told to man mark Neco for 90 minutes just to properly shag him out for the league.

Surely they'll pick fringe players to give them the opportunity to convince the manager for euros qualifying.

Shit, like tonight, with a German in charge, world cup winners with a German in charge. Whatever the outcome, I'm seeing no upside.

One of Trump's envoys has apparently made a formal request to FIFA to remove Iran from the WC and replace them with Italy.

Sounds like Yamine Lamal has torn his hamstring, which presumably will make it at least touch and go that he makes the WC.

Been offered a ticket to England v Ghana in Boston. Currently undecided whether to drop the eyewatering amounts of money needed for that trip though.

I will be in Boston for work that day and will probably go. Not the first time you and I would have spent eyewatering amounts on a game

Yeah, this is similar money. My mate paid $900 a pop for 4 tickets. My biggest problem is the date as I may have to be at an event in Vancouver the following day and I don't know if I can make it all work.

I believe the local train company is also charging $80 to get you there and back, compared to the normal $20…

I’ll be in Italy at the time, otherwise may have gone.

Not as bad as NJ Transit, who have raised the price of the two stop journey from Penn to Metlife via Secaucus from its regular $9 to $150 for WC matches. No idea how they're justifying it.

    Justify?

They are doing it because they can. Also, it’s the USA… the crime and scam country with the scammy crime president who does crime and scams all the time.

If people wanted affordable travel then they should have hedged against the scams on poly market.
