I don't think it makes much sense that we'd impact his career development to maintain that record for a few games while Yates is out, it's not difficult to bring another youth up to warm a spot on the bench. If Abbott is staying it's presumably because the manager thinks he's got a role to play.

Paul Taylor reckoned the club believe (ie have told him) that Abbot's development is better served being around defenders of the high standard of our back 3 and playing a small number of games, than it would be by sending him out on loan. But, for reasons, the same doesn't doesn't apply to Bindon.

I think I'd quite like it if Mr Bindon went to Swindon.

Actually, if we're having a 21 gun salute for Omar Richards tomorrow perhaps we could point each one in the vague direction of a lower league club and invite any potential outgoing loanees to climb in one at random and see where they end up.

There has been a lot of talk recently that Glasner always insists on playing his best passer in central midfield and that he thinks at Forest his best passer is McAtee. So, this is a big opportunity for McAtee and he has been told that apparently and working extremely hard on his physical conditioning over the summer which is why he is looking a bit heftier. This is also why Glasner hasn't been getting too stressed about Bergvall or another Anderson replacement. This feels like a really big early call for Glasner and Leeds being as physical as they are is going to be a hard test.

Glasner also is a big fan of Ndoye apparently.

The other interesting thing is Jair Cunha. It's been quiet on him with Diomande signing, so his inclusion is a bit of a surprise.
