No shouty caps lock rage as it's early and we have nothing to panic over for a least a couple of months. So how are we feeling about our Pseudo Nazi Train operator? (for the record all Austrians are a bit stern and mental). Is he going to Lead us to glory and respectability or is he going to knacker the squad Nuno style by running us into the ground. Poor old Aina looks a tad tired already. Although it looks like a Dodo might be on the way to help with this. (Insert pun here...).

Dirty Leeds are first up and we will be matching their 3-5-1 with our own I believe. I think we will see Schlager in the McAtee/Ando role (sorry James). As I think Oliver is going to want some bully ball in there with Sangare. Our new signing from Sporting I also believe will start at the expense of Cunha (who I think may have a break out season actually). Woody isn't entirely fit yet so I am guessing Jesus gets the nod with N'Doye doing his impression of a weeble before CHO comes on and steadies the ship.

Leeds aren't great at the city ground so I am going with a home win 2-0 or 2-1 with Morgan and Jesus doing the business.

And technically I am writing this match thread on a Thursday (U.K. time) so nobody needs to have a snit.

And we are off!!!!!!! CHOO CHOO!

I think Leeds could be decent this season. Definitely not an easy game.

Leeds are going to finish top half IMO. Cunts.

We will finish either top half or bottom half that's for certain.

I think 8th to 13th is basically a group of similar clubs and teams that are likely going to be split on the back of 1 or 2 results over the season.

    Maybe even 8th to 15th.

Not if we finish level in all aspects with 10th.

Arguably 8th to 17th. And Villa could struggle to stay out of that discussion, given the players they've lost.

    Alphabetical order must kick in?

Who's the 7th one not in that equation?

Spurs. No Europe, decent manager, much stronger at the back and in midfield. Will surely improve the attack but Solanke and Rircharlison are serviceable anyway.

I had Spurs in the 6 (Arsenal, United, City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs).

Then Villa are the 7th. Still expect Emery and the remnants of that team (back 4 mostly unchanged, can't really see Watkins leaving) to keep them above our level.

Having looked across a number of predictions, the broad concensus of groupings is: 1. Arsenal; 2. City; 3-5. Chelsea, Liverpool, ManU; 6&7. Spurs and Villa; 8-14. Brighton, Brentford, Newcastle, Forest, Everton, Bournemouth, Leeds; 15-17. Palace, Fulham, Sunderland; 18-20. Cov, Ipswich, Hull.

Home win, despite a combination of Rob Jones tax and Chicago starting the match thread.

Christ I hadn't noticed that, the guy's an absolute tool.

    Rob Jones isn't much better.
