The fact that even with FIFA and the refs desperately trying to get Argentina the win they couldn't manage a single shot on target in 120 minutes, or even one off target in the regulation 90, just makes that German cunt's spineless capitulation look even worse.

This was so gruesome to watch I forgot the half time show. which was hyped to bollocks and then 6 minutes long. Everything that is bad in football came out to play. VARgentina got away with murder when hilariously Fernandez got sent off for two yellows (he should have got a red for elbowing Ando in the last game). One of which wasn't even for a foul but complaining a decision. The dirty little fuckers realised they had not chance in an actual football match so decided to give Spain the England treatment. Didn't quite work out for them even though they got away with absolute murder until the ref had had enough of Enzo. What was with Tom Cruise blabbering on before the game? How in God's name did the first goal not get given. I mean, they tried to give it to brand Messi but the smell got too much even for FIFA which was hilarious. Half the Spanish players ignoring Trump at the end was funny too.

Anyway after the third place classic comedy game you just knew this was going to be awful and so it came to pass. I hope the Euros don't go all hollywood or I will just give up.

Oh yeah, and have we sacked Tuchel yet?

    Chicago: Knackered.

Still a fucking prick with a long way to go, but a little bit less than before today.

The best thing that Infantino has done is make Platini and UEFA look like the good guys. It's hilarious how much they hate each other, I don't think there's any danger of UEFA adopting any of the things we've hated about this World Cup - quite the opposite.

Talksport are actually doing an objective retrospective on the world cup that isn't just a hagiography. Kudos to Natalie Sawyer, Darren Lewis, and Micky Gray, for not just getting consumed by the bullshit.

Congratulations on the use of the word 'hagiography'.

I had no idea what it means until I googled, but I like it a lot.
