This is a brilliant ad.

It's very nice having an event like this in NZ. I may not make any games, but it's getting a buzz.
V good indeed 👍
Football's great, innit?
Were NZ expected to win or a surprise? I'm not well up on the hierarchy of women's game.
26th in the world vs 12th, so underdogs but with home advantage...?
It's the first game NZ has won at a World Cup, men's or women's. But it's a decent team with home advantage, so I'd say underdog rather than upset.

What they're actually saying is "no dear, because all keepers are mentalists and we don't want our daughter growing up to be a mentalist".
Canada kick off in half an hour at something called the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium. Even by Australian standards that's somewhat prosaic.
Great, innit. It’s actually called Aami Park, with Aami being the insurance company who bought the naming rights… but the rights don’t cover all events (or maybe sometimes there are conflicts with other sponsors) so in those cases the stadium basically doesn’t have a name. Whoever decided to call it ‘Melbourne Rectangular Stadium’, which HAS to be a commentary on the absurdity of it all, is a genius.
MRS is my favourite Australian football ground. It's very green.
It’s a lovely little ground. Quirky enough not to feel like the usual soulless modern affair, and if you get a proper crowd in, the atmosphere is great.
The "Wellington Regional Stadium" is less pithy than Sky Stadium, but if left to me it would have taken the te reo Maori babe of The Whanganui a Tara Stadium, or TWaT Stadium for short.
Twats. I think you mean.
The referee in the england haiti game seems to be mostly watching the telly so far.
I think you could CGI-swap any England men’s team into this game and everyone would believe that they were the ones delivering the sort of ponderous fluff they always like to bring to the group stages.
