Id imagine that Dyche was fuming with the other winger for giving that corner away.

And Bakwa gave ball away for the break that led to the disallowed goal. He got better. But we could have been 2 down and out of it
So aside from the ginger wizards genius, any sign of this fantastic squad we've built?
I thought it was utterly horrific tonight. Almost or maybe on par with the two Everton games. Where the fuck is our midfield and Ando is turning into a show pony. Constantly losing the ball and then waving his arms around. We were so so lucky to win that. Wet Sham are rubbish but they should have been out of sight by the time we got our flukey corner goal and then the penno. I still think we got a nice VAR decision over their second? I thought it was a deflectedf tackle that went to their striker and even then looking down the line he looked onside. I think were given ther 6mm Liverpool got at their game. Automated should be better but the lines don't look straight. Maybe I am Boz eyed but bugger me we got away with it.
Jesus is a fine footballer but when you are surrounded by three defenders constantly with nothing in support what the fuck are you supposed to do? Our midfield was none existent apart from Dom who was excellent. We need more argies in the side because those fuckers are.all action and probably on cocaine. Luiz next to Dom would have settled me down. Thank God Ando isn't playing Hollywood FC. He needs a break. Morgans penalty was a penalty but it was rubbish and luckily Areola had a nip slip and dived.
We didn't deserve to win. Delighted that we did but if we play like that again in the forthcoming games do you see any points? What has happened? We looked disjointed and utter bunk. Thankj God Nuno had managed to destroy Wet Hammerings. They have no confidence whatsoever thank the lordy leaping thing.
Can we get Elanga back on loan? At least he is entertaining....
A nerw striker isn't going to do anything at all if he has no support. jesus would score a hatfull for a footballing side.
Wow we got away with it. Someone likes us. Which in itself is a Christmas Miracle.
Roll on the Ressies against Wrexham. Let's hope they actually pass to each other.
Chicago: Pulling my beautiful hair out.
I hope we never play in those shitty cream shirts again. They are proper ugly.
Don’t know if anyone has mentioned the affectionate hugs between our players and Nuno on the pitch at the end. If there was any doubt about how unsettled his departure made us, and how upset the players were, it was there in plain sight. Wonder what Edu and Marinakis thought. Also, if I was a West Ham fan I would be furious seeing that.
Occured to me. Can only presume he knows the tin tack is imminent, because on a PR level alone that was suicidal.
I quite like them.
Last few games we have been absolutely wide open at times through the middle. As you say, it doesn't help that Anderson is a shadow of the player he was at the start of the season - not sure if it's burnout or he's had his head turned by another club.
Last night was one of the most fortunate wins I've seen in a long time. Crack-papering is all that was.
Anderson needs a break. His form has dipped massively. It doesn’t help that Sangare is away, Yates is out and Luiz is a mystery. But he could have 12 days off now which will hopefully help.
More broadly, given Aina’s return, I think we should reconsider the two wide players. Right now, there is very little product coming from out wide, they offer little defensively (Hutchinson and Bakwa both directly responsible for goals vs Villa and WH), Jesus is massively isolated and we are wide open through the middle. I’d be in favour of a slightly more compact midfield three, allowing MGW to get up nearer to Jesus, shore up the middle and focus on inside channel balls/simpler cut backs. Our crossing is woeful and even when it’s good, we have a striker who’s often giving up significant height to at least 2 centre backs. And we can’t rely on goalies punching our players in the face to get penalties.
We were shit, they were shit. Luckily we got the three points which feels massive.
4 wins and 4 draws sees us to 38 points and safe.
He looked a shadow of his former self (he cut his hair, and I stopped loving him) in his first game back. Looked a level up last night, I thought. Anderson is over-footballed. No doubt. It's a measure of just how good he is, that he's keeping going with the massive step up in football he's had to adjust to. He's still the real deal...but does need managing a bit.
An upvote from the cotgrave panel for a three in midfield, and some thought around the wide players.
I also miss Aina’s hair. And his baggy shorts. Surely he could borrow a pair from Murillo?
I've skimmed through the thread, but did some on here think we played well?
One of the worst performances and worst games in general I can remember.
No way we deserved to win that. But we didn't deserve to lose to Fulham or City so guess a rebalancing was due.
If they weren't translucent I might be less harsh

I thought we played better than West Ham. That’s not the same thing as playing well.
