After a year of visiting multiple universities in the mid-west, north east, mid-atlantic and Europe - Señorita Mus has finally made a decision, and after all that travel ended up only 1hr 30mins from Muswell Towers and will be spending the next 4 years at UConn. (University of Connecticut)

I'm surprised, I was expecting her to become a Spartan.

So was I... but in the end she wanted to be a Huskie. 2 good basketball teams, a reasonable hockey team (which is the arena I suspect she'll spend most of her time) and and average football team - so it could have been worse.

Didn't sleep well last night, got up around 6, decided to get an early start on a piece of work I've been putting off but had planned to get done today. Found my groove immediately and by 8am I was able to send it to stakeholders for initial review, thus freeing up a chunk of my day.

Knackered now though. Been to the gym and cranked out some more work, then going house hunting this afternoon followed by some fancy art show opening this evening. I will sleep well.
