Saw a link to this in When Saturday Comes - a full digitial archive of Brian Fanzines.

I found that interesting. Although I, personally, don't/wont use issuu. I did make enquiries about making an accessible ebook (pdf) alternative available to talkback members, but that permission was not forthcoming. Which I will respect (although there would appear to be no reason that it can't just be done...apart from issues surrounding being a cunt and undermining the value and work others have undertaken).

...anyway....it's there, and a resource...I believe there may be the contributions of talkbackers in there...

I've got a couple of letters in there. Fucked if I can remember which issues though.

Google Pixel 7a £9 on the Carphone Warehouse website, 2 year contract unlimited data at £14.99/month. You struggle to get sim only at that price sometimes.

Having just secured the Dad of the Year award again by securing tickets for young Willie Irish in London.

£111 each though. Even Marinakis would wince at that. She doesn't even bother singing half the songs and lets the crowd sing them instead. Bah.

I'm taking my eldest (15) to see her favourite band, Elbow, on Saturday. I thought £40 each was steep. She also wants to join me and my mate at Shed Seven in November. Given we always end up a mess at such shows, I'm not convinced it's a great idea.

I thought £111 was cheap. Unless they are up on the Gods. £150 or more is common these days for a seat where you might not have to watch the screen all the time.

It is top tier - seems fairly central though.

I'm only doing the Brum Sheds gig this time around as its the only weekend one Mrs. Seán hadn't already arranged something less important we're not doing something. 02 academy in Birmingham is not my favourite venue. Also, Birmingham.

And I can't midweek gig on a school night anymore. I can barely stay awake past 22:00 full stop these days.

Sheffield Octagon (meh as a venue) and I’m also going to edinburgh. Up for the weekend, fitba Saturday afternoon, Sheds Sat night and hopefully, tickets depending, Scotland v Australia egg chasing Sunday afternoon. Love the new album.

Have got tickets for the United game (home end), Chelsea, and Burnley away (thanks to JR). Mrs Shady does not yet know about the 1st and 3rd of those so some tricky conversations when she gets back from London tomorrow.

Bank of Canada is first in the G7 to crack and reduce interest rates. Only a quarter point but it's finally a step in the right direction.
