Wife just messaged to say we have a bar reservation in NYC for the Super Bowl.

Pretty happy with that. I know fuck all about helmet football but always wanted to be in the States for a Super Bowl and eat shitloads of wings in a bar with beer. So was chuffed when the date coincided with our anniversary trip next week.

Drinks and food (inc wings) are unlimited for 3 hrs. Get in!

SB is always an awesome party and this should be a really good game, you'll have a lot of fun.

It is immense fun, and I have made a pig of myself on wings. The occasion is great, the sport though, is fucking shite. But still, a good night out .

There’s a loud annoying British girl in here who gets a pass because she has a great rack.

It's not the most exciting game ever although it's a pretty engaging tactical battle.

After 25 years of being in sales I don't think the novelty of being the customer will ever wear off. Being able to turn up 5 minutes late to a meeting reeking of last night's booze and having people still be nice to me is an endless source of joy.

Pleasing as I'm WFH before heading up to Nottingham later, otherwise fucking mental.

The climate cunts are protesting in the City all week. Some got into office lobby yesterday (they were singing and attempting to hand out leaflets when I arrived).

Building out on extra external layers of security for today.

People arriving at about 8am took 35 minutes to get into office.

By 9am the queue was the equivalent of something like the club shop all the time ay across Trent bridge and a bit more.

Similar extra levels of security in our place yesterday, though only a minor queue.

I went in via the bicycle carpark entrance instead. It was easy. The climate protesters should try that really too.

I’m pretty sure they’re already using bicycles. They seem really into them.

@JimShady they upped the security today (and tomorrow) as it's more hardcore groups out as the week goes on. The queue was from our building back as far as your building this morning I'm told!
