That's now only £11 I owe everyone after this escapade. Well done Ingo.

Heading out shortly for the first corporate golf tournament of the year. It's a glorious sunny day with temperatures forecast to nudge 30, and we're playing at one of the best courses in the country (TPC Osprey Valley, home of the Canadian Open in a couple of weeks).
There are days when my job isn't awful, and this is one of them.
Horrible train delays coming back from a night in London (Pixies gig) but my final train pulled in at exactly 60 minutes later than scheduled so a full refund incoming.
Spent a couple of hours cleaning out my closet and purging a bunch of clothes I'll never wear again. About to celebrate by going to buy some more clothes.
This amuses me, as you will definitely be throwing away a lot better clothes, than my clothes.
Tbf I'm not throwing them away, the ones that aren't actually knackered are going to my friend for her teenage sons to pick through. There are some expensive items there though that have been worn maybe twice and have me wondering what the hell I was thinking when I bought them.
I'm guessing it wasn't "George at ASDA"?
It definitely was not. Although we call it "George at Wal-Mart" here.
Just made the best smoothie ever. Blueberries, peanut butter, vanilla protein powder, oats, honey, Greek yogurt, and soy milk.
Just ordered the new Glorious Banners book. Really love the first one. Brings me close to tears every six months when I flick through it.

There's been two before this one I think?
Yes correct. The original one of the promotion season. Then a second one (I missed even knowing about that one, not sure what it was called/about), then this new one about our European adventures.
Second one was first season back in Prem.
Phone broke. Got a new one. Remembered how to log back into Talkback (eventually).
Got my expenses submitted before the lady in Accounts yells at me again. Last time she threatened to take my company credit card off me. Oh no, you mean I'd have to use my own card and collect all the points? What a terrible thing that would be.

I’ve always been more than happy for people to do this (upside for all parties bar the credit card companies, as far as I’m concerned)… and amazed that most people seem to rank a feeling of ‘status’ they get from having corporate card over a feeling of ‘having something of value’ they could get from collecting points.
