Getting home from a long and epic day at a dance music festival to see that the Leafs once again choked when it matters. This was a pretty much perfect Sunday.

Was going to go in the “what’s annoying me” thread. And would have proved my point that no-one or nothing can annoy me anything like I can annoy myself.

Am in Morocco and bought tickets for two days of the Gnaoua Music Festival in Essaouira (Thursday and Friday) totally forgetting that we are actually leaving on Friday so that was £100 down the drain. It also turns out, now we are here, they you don’t really need tickets unless you want to be up front near the stage as it’s effectively a free festival. So double idiocy on my part.

Put them on a ticket exchange website last night, more in hope than expectation. And someone has bought them at face value. Yay! Thank you, Marta, whoever you are.

Just dropped off Little Miss BW at dancing and Mrs BW has stayed in town to do some shopping with a friend.

Given the heat today, I've decided to do nothing for the next three hours before I pick them up aside from watching the cricket with a fan going in the corner of the room. About to brew up a mug of coffee.

Jimmy Carr last night in Chicago. Epic comedy set. All new material. The audience participation and the invitation of text messages, birthdays, fuckwit participation just mega.

Tremendous tremendous night.

The best part was wifey came home Thursday night from her so called work trip In Arizona, (friends flew in to Join her there which was weird considering she was meant to be on a time sensitive project), and we had the expected massive fight which resulted in a detente. We met a couple of friends going to the show with us for dinner Friday and before they said anything, I looked at their worried faces and said, "don't worry we yelled at each other for about 3 and a half hours last night and now everything is fine'. Both of them let out a huge breath of relief and then felt happy to enjoy the night without having to fret about dodging marital bullets.

Because of his rising popularity in these here parts he tours fairly often. He also has Netflix specials. Every time he is here live he very very rarely overlaps material. He is pretty prolific. Maybe New Zealand might be a sheep too far for him? I don't know but haven't been disappointed yet.

He is back in October so I guess that might be a big test, Anyway, capped off a pretty shitty week by making it better.
