    New car day! Excting.

After many months of delays, almost a year later it's here.

I decided after much umming and aahing to go electric.... bmaby seals, polar bears, Shady, all that shit.

Anyway. Cupra Born. Its the V3 spec in Aurora Blue with the pimp daddy copper accents 20's and all the toys. Midlife crisis part... something. .

Its a proper reet good laugh, though. Not quite traditional hot hatch, obvs, but fun nonetheless.

    Let the range anxiety begin....

We have a 2017 Fiat 500e that I use almost exclusively for my work commute. Range anxiety aside (any longer commute and I’d need to charge at work), I love it.

36 points in the weekend stableford, my handicap has dropped faster than Leicester so nice to finally hit par.

I’ve not played golf since last September when my showing in a golf comp was so poor I decided my time would be better spent doing something, anything else. But I’ve been thinking about playing a few holes recently. Not sure if that’s a pleasing or unsettling thought.

I've played countless terrible rounds before, but never so bad that I've wanted to give the sport up entirely.

"Pleasing" is something of an understatement.

Just found the watch that I realised last Friday I hadn't seen or worn for a few weeks and wasn't in either of the logical places it would usually be. As it was an expensive 40th birthday present from Mrs Simon, I was not looking forward to the conversation after I confessed it had gone missing.

That's good. I'm going, and I've never seen Sleaford Mods.

I had one of those tiny thin annoying wriggly insect type things find it's way between the lcd and the protective screen on my main monitor. I resisted the urge to squash it, forever encasing it in full view on my screen (like on the other one). This morning it seems to have, rather gratifyingly, crawled away and died somewhere out of sight.

Does anyone else suddenly have an image of that 'bug-man' off (of) Men in Black while thinking "Ohhh, that was Tricky. Bit thinner than I thought but all makes sense" ?

    No? Fair do's.

Old man had to get tested for cancer. Tests came back negative so Charlie and his scythe will need to go back to the drawing board for now.

Stupid anachronistic irrelevant and culturally insensitive games can stay the fuck away from my tax dollars, thanks.

As politicians go, our State Premier is great.

Why did they bid for it, or was it different government then?
