Hope things work out Jeff.
Hope things work out Jeff.
Hope things improve going forwards for you all.
Sorry to hear all of this J. Hope 2026 proves to be a vast upgrade on what sounds like a pretty awful 2025.
Fuck that's rough. I hope you all manage to have a relaxing Christmas and that 2026 is better than 2025!
Sorry to hear that Jeff. All sounds very shitty. Wishing you all the best. From an imaginary webmong.
I was always pretty humbug about Xmas at the best of times. Exacerbated 15 years ago today when Guru Senior departed his mortal coil at precisely midday. I shall be shortly be raising a glass to his memory.
Hope things work out for you all. Sounds shitty.
I was trying to reconfigure our smart speakers just before our party yesterday and I fucked something up. I decide to factory reset them all to fix it. Then could only get one working again, so music during the party was a bit crap. I've just realised it was because I have a VPN running on my phone which was blocking them being re-added to my home network. Disabled it for ten minutes and they're now all online again. A day too late.
Top Mincing.
Why are there 6 Premier League fixtures this evening and only 4 on New Year's Day, all in the evening?
To confuse things further our game is being shown on the 'Sky Sports Cricket' channel tonight.
That’s not cricket.
But tonight's game will last about as long as an Ashes test.
Because games are always spread out over the (post) Christmas period and playing on New Year’s Eve (a working day, when noones going to want to watch football in the evening) would be stupid?
OK.
Why are there fewer games on New Year's Day, a national holiday and a day when traditionally there is a full slate of fixtures, and none in the afternoon, which is when they are traditionally played?
To put the focus on the Football League for the traditional afternoon games?
So that there are more Saturday games (from Tuesday) than Sunday games (from Thursday)?
Although having just checked the weekend split is 4 Sat / 6 Sun.
