I've got some. You could drive round and get them.

I found one in the apple tag thing that's in my golf bag. Which was just as well because I also discovered that if you use the little key thing hidden in the fob while the fob has no battery it, not only can you not start the car, it also sets off the alarm.

That seems to rather defeat the point of the little key thing.

I've done the driving down the road, with the alarm going off thing, in exactly this scenario.

To be honest it didn't bother me. I felt down wiv da kidz, pumping out beats, in ma hot rod.

There’s no keyhole for the ignition either, so the car wouldn’t start. But at least I could wait inside the car, with the alarm going off, while I wait for a taxi?

I’ve now looked it up and apparently there is way to make the car start while the fob battery is dead. Could have done that before I set the alarm off but where’s the fun in that?

Remember to replace the battery in your golf bag. I don’t think rentals are cheap at Marco Simone.

Wouldn’t really make any difference though, would it? It’s just nice to be up to date on what the fuckers have done with it in the event of something going wrong (again).

Warmest November since the earth's crust cooled back here in blighty and Eon are still putting my gas bill up by £20 a month.

I'm about £500 in credit with Octopus energy at the moment. Their model obviously predicts this will even out over the winter, but I doubt it and am tempted to grab some of the dosh back (which they do give the option of to be fair).

I'm all for flattening monthly payments but if they are holding a balance at the end of peak usage then that's a savings scheme you never signed up for.

Agreed. Will see how it looks in a month or two then probably start clawing it back.

Still haven't had my money back from British Gas after I left them in August. Was due £167 which is now £287 due to them failing to meet standards. If I don't get it by next Friday, I think my case goes to OFGEM.

Now with Fuse Energy, they bill me for what I use. Happy with that, I'm able to manage my own finances.

I'm £450 in debit with Octopus and we only put the heating on last weekend.

Think they may have underestimated the amount of shit we have plugged in.
