Sitting in a harbourside bar on a Greek island, I overheard a Brit telling his woman in a broad Midlands accent that the only people who speak English in London these days are the tourists. What annoyed me is that I didn't interrupt and have an argument. I don't expect it would have gone well but I feel I should have done it.

I can just picture the scene, while turning to the waiter and saying: "Gerrus another pint of John Smiths, will you? None of that Mythos shit. Yammas, duckeh..."

How thick is he, the tourists don't speak English either.

My youngest gets to go to Nursery for free through Wales' Flying Start program targeted at areas of deprivation. I wouldn't call Brecon deprived, but post code lottery.

It is a part of a wider program that includes Healthy Start that includes a card to buy food. A local farm has a shop that delivers boxes of veg, small, medium or large for £10, £15 or £20. Through Flying Start I can get a box with £5.75 off, so I get a medium box of fresh, locally produced high quality veg for £9.25.

But get this, if you've got a Healthy Start card, you can get a small box for free! That's a £10 box of fresh local veg for free, every week!

Only the program is now likely to close, because only three of us out of about 80 kids buy the veg. Not a single person has claimed a free £10 box of veg. Never.

Fucking dickheads. Kids growing up on Farmfoods brown oven shit.

You would have thought people would have at least ordered it, and sold it on to {no market for it at all}. Surely a minor enterprise opportunity for aspiring young entrepreneurs?

    kids today. Bah humbug.

But a £10 farmshop box is about £4 in the supermarket. So probably not the customer base in a poor part of Wales.

Telling someone how disapointed you are in a complaint is very needy.

Supposed to be going to a gig tonight and all I want to do is sit on the sofa in my pyjamas eating.

Have you considered inviting the boys around, eating ice cream, drinking wine and having pillow fights in your knickers?

I'd have thought that if the prospect of the gig is not enough to tempt him out of his lounge wear, then the decision's a fairly straightforward one.

I'm doing number 3. Might try and persuade Mrs Rave into number 4.
Never do 2 and 3 together. Especially if the wine is red.

I would but part of the reason I don't want to go out is because I can't be bothered dealing with people.

I'm sure this is just you tonight / this weekend, but these days this is me most of the time...
In real life, anyway. I still quite like you imaginary webmongs.

Ryder Cup on tv. Some great golf but the yelling from the American crowd is making it almost unwatchable.
