Fingers crossed you get redress from the bastards, chic.

This is why I end up doing everything myself. Can't trust any of the other chiselling cunts the world makes.

    Shrink/ruin your clothes don't they?

I've been using them for years, and my clothes have remained unshrunk and unruined.

Yes but your trousers are already short.

    Not on me they aren't.

Have you considered that maybe clothes aren't being made smaller by the machines, and that you're all becoming fat fucks?

I have some beautiful calf leather upper astro boots, that fit me like a glove.

I seem to have succeeded in snapping the sole in them.

I know we've had this conversation before, but people. Tumble dryers. They're not some kind of fancy luxury item.

Beautiful sunny day now, touch of breeze. Perfect for drying your clothes outside. Free and better for the climate.

I read this as "calf-high" boots. More concerning, I wasn't the least surprised that a man of your discerning fashion sense would have a pair of "calf-high" boots for playing football..

Becoming? I can't speak for the rest of the parish, obviously, butI myself have been what is medically described as 'a reet fat knacker' for some time now.

Got rid of ours last year. Expensive to run and environmentally unsound. Everything dries really quickly in our house so really don’t miss it at all.

It's so wonderfully TB to have recurring arguments, as mostly middle-aged men, about tumble dryers.

    Perhaps it's an off-season, there's-no-football-to-quarrel-about thing.

You don't "ping" emails. You send them, via federated servers, most frequently in an insecure way.

Car service/MOT, was really hoping for a cheap one as moving house is costing the earth. Came in at a more than desired £744.

As I walk in to collect, the mechanic walks up to me, something I need to show you on your car. He's taken it for a test drive to hear the noise I told him about, a stone has flicked up from a truck and cracked the windscreen.

My insurance doesn't cover it. The garage has said they will. I hope so.

Nothing ever flows easy for me.

More yesterday than today but my car had to be switched out in record time due to mine having a flat and the sensors not alerting me that there was a problem. had to run back to the house to get wifey's keys. Running at full speed in our neighbourhood at 5am in the morning usually indicates criminal activity, so glad the police weren't called. Because the basement is fucked, we cannot access the garage through the garden as there is a hole in the back, so we have to go through the front door and run around to the back with a remote control for the garage door. The remote is so sensitive that the fucking garage door keeps opening if the remote gets brushed in my pocket and the door remains open at night (which happened this morning not yesterday). Luckily nothing was stolen.

On top of that the basement work is on hold because all the workers have covid and they cannot get back to it for another two weeks because they have other projects scheduled. .

    Chicago: Aaaaargh part 2.

One day after the Transport Secretary boasts about reaching agreement with Aslef to end train strikes (by giving them all of what they asked for), Aslef announce more train strikes.

Well that's fucked up three different weekends that we'd booked tickets for.
