So following my non league team has been fairly easy. Started watching them at the back end of last season and this year they’ve been excellent. And following a 5-0 win on Saturday are top of the league by two points with 2 games to go.

It’s the highest they’ve ever been and would be going to step 4 in non league if they held on.

    However.

Last night they were deducted 6 points for playing a suspended player in a couple of matches earlier in the season. Basically means they won’t finish top so won’t get automatic. Appears an admin error allowed this to happen. Which means the playoffs.

And now the manager has announced on tik tok he’s leaving at the end of the season. And hes bloody good.

So season totally derailed, manager more or less has left having spat his dummy out.

Id quite like to follow a normal club.

Funnily enough I sent a story to my dad last night saying the top of league side have been deducted 6 points so Spalding Utd (my hometown team and one he watches fairly regularly) are now top of league.

Responses to the link I saw on twitter from Spalding fans suggested the away travelling support of your team were a bunch of cunts when they played a little while back.

I’d be surprised if they were. I’ve been to a couple of away games and don’t number much more than 30 and all a fairly reserved bunch.

The local kids were out last year and attacked the Corby fans but that’s not really an offence. And they don’t go to any other games.

There’s been a lot of jealously towards Harborough as they are a smaller club punching above their weight as they dared to invest in the playing squad. (Although I’ve seen similar jibes at Spalding regarding spending).

Spalding certainly seems to be better run than back when I used to go see them. Embraced the social media side of things.

I suspect it is easy to upset a Spalding fan, they don't like outsiders much in Lincolnshire.

Apart from that absolutely glorious goal, you mean.

I like gummy bears, especially the sour ones. I always have a bag of sour gummy bears in my desk drawer. Recently I finished my bag of gummy bears and so I bought a new one, this afternoon I opened it to realise that I had accidentally bought regular gummy bears instead of the sour kind. They're fine, but they're not as nice.

I like Sour Patch Kids. It’s very rare the bag lasts for a second sitting.

Genuinely surprised that people eat sweets so regularly. I definitely haven't had a sugar based sweet in over a year. My five year consumption would be less than a packet.

Now. If we talk about dark chocolate and peanuts. Different conversation.

It's a relatively new phenomenon for me, but after I cut pretty much all alcohol, dairy and meat out of my diet about 8 months ago, sugar is one of the few vices I have left. I don't eat a lot of it, a bag of gummy bears probably lasts a month but it's good to have on hand when I have a sweet craving. And my late night snack is a bowl of mixed nuts followed by a couple of squares of dark chocolate.
