2 euros for a pair of shorts?
"I'd like 20, how much are they?"
"They are £12 each."
"How much for 20?"
It would be quicker to punch this into a calculator than type that email, marra.
Assuming they are expecting say 230 for 20 or something like that.
Just write back
£240. Ingo doesn't do discounts.
Normally that goes:
"How much is this jumper?"
"It's £12"
"Do I get anything off if I order 20?"
Although your original answer is correct, you should never negotiate with terrorists, ASDA doesn't.
They're above the knee. And the photo is probably on a Chinese person, so they'll be 6 inches above the knee on me.
My Arsenal-supporting work colleague being 'gutted' about their result last night. Try being a Forest fan.
They've still got every chance of winning in Munich given how toilet Bayern are these days. No idea how they scraped a draw last night.
If he's not a cockney tell him to fuck off and support his local team.
He's from Austria natively, moved to South West London 10-12 years ago.
Another work colleague from the US was over last week and excited to go watch his 'beloved gooners'.
They all make me sick. I join in the conversations and chat as they're nice people, but I can't take any of them as serious football fans. They've not had a lifetime of pain.
Another reason why City for the title for me.
At least their historic fans have had plenty of bad times cf Liverpool and Arsenal where bad times are being comfortable mid table top division and a decent cup run.
I have a friend from Texas (I say friend, but more my partners bestie's husband to be, would never hang out otherwise) who claims to be a lifelong supporter of Spurs. When I asked him how Brennan Johnson was getting on, he had no clue who I was talking about!
Surely we've all had the thing where someone is introduced as "a big football (or, of course, footie) fan as well" and you spend a bit of time figuring out whether that's actually true or if they just watch ManYoo or Liverpool on TV sometimes. Determines whether the appropriate response to them bringing up Forest's transfer policy is "ha, ha, yes, I guess we did sign quite a few players last season" or the full discussion of the importance of loan players in the promotion side and the unfortunate series of pre-season injuries.
Not many casual Macclesfield fans. The 'bigger' the club that a 'fan' supports, the more grounds for cautious scepticism. If they are declared to be a manure fan, it's reasonable to assume that they are a milky part-time 'I just do as I'm programmed to' retard totally blown away by marketing, rather than football. If you are from manchester, then shitty is the historical natural fit. If you are not from manchester, the choice should be neither of them. If you are a glory hunting idiot with no real attachment to ball kicking, looking for the biggest, most diluted, global 'footie' experience, then manure is for you. But you'll never understand football. Or life.
That's just how it works.
Where do Forest fans sit in this model of yours?
