What's annoying me today

USB ports on my work laptop have stopped working, which means that I can't use my external camera or mouse. Now have to wait for our IT department to figure out how to fix it, which given I'm a remote worker almost certainly means them sending me a replacement machine, which means having to shift all my local files onto cloud storage, which is a ballache.

Just realised Bet365 aren't streaming the game tonight.

I just checked, it's not on ESPN's broadcast or streaming services. I'm presuming it will be on a catch up service.

Properly busy today. Still managed to finish the day with more outstanding work than I started it with.

I was at an open event about AI this week. Most of the people who turned up at this open event that had absolutely no barriers to coming along were chaps broadly a bit like me. Put a picture about the event on socials. Cue snarky comments about diversity from folk who didn't turn up to this open event.

Concur. My company mandates using this stupid company / application for booking all travel, despite me being able to get better flights for less money by just going onto Expedia. And at the end of the year they're going to refuse me an increase in my T&E budget despite the fact that they're the ones ordering me to waste it.

We also use Concur, but we changed the travel booking within in it to use Amex travel, doesn't solve issue of paying a bit more for flights though always seems to come in about $20 more than booking direct!
