What's annoying me today

I am really sorry to hear that, sending my sympathy. It is really heart-breaking.

Pops was just a few weeks off 13. It was very hard this morning her not being under my feet when I was getting ready for work. The room empty that she sleeps in. I knew it was heading this way but her deterioration on Monday into Tuesday was just so quick that it feels very sudden. But then there would never be a good time either.

Thanks everyone, yesterday was made worse as late on a mate text to say his dad had died suddenly that morning. He’d been on a few weekends away with us over the years and was a good bloke.

Had my car repaired after someone went into the side of me a couple of months ago. Got it back and they'd fixed all the scratches and it looked as good as new.
Today, I found that some cunt has scraped the front left pretty deeply. The bumper is gouged right through and the front left panel is all scratched. Trying to figure out where it could have happened.

Meant to be completing on new house tomorrow, but was called at 16:45 to say there's an issue with the chain and suggesting some dates in the next two weeks. Cunt.

We entered into this purchase on the basis there WAS no chain. We are renting, and the seller said he will be going into a rental. So no chain. Seems that's changed in the last few months but we weren't told. Cunt.

Earlier this week had messages from the Estate Agent and the sellers solicitor (via our solicitor) expressing concern that our funds would be in place for tomorrow. Would we have cashed in our premium bonds in time. I was pissed that they're even asking - as far as the seller and the sellers solicitor are concerned funds are our private issue and they'll be ready for Friday. Cunt. Was stressful but we managed it. Had to pay some fees to get them moved about in time but we got them all to the solicitor for about 2pm today.

As we work from home, and the date was "certain" I've actually booked broadband install for 17 March at the new place already. If I have to delay that it'll be a problem.

Person we are buying from has suggested a range of dates over the next two weeks. I've aggressively said this coming Tuesday, and if it's any later than that "We'll be considering our position in this purchase".

They're replied to say yes, Tuesday, and that the seller will "break the chain" to get it done. Too fucking right you will mate. There WAS no chain until two days ago. Cunt.

Fortunately for them we hadn't booked removal firms or I'd be extra pissed.

Been invited via a friend to Paul Barber's corporate box for the Brighton v Forest cup game. But I am away cycling that weekend and can't go.

Seems obvious to me. Cancel the cycling.

It's a 4 night trip with a mate. Booze, cycling and lazy mornings in a hotel without my darling daughter waking me up at 7am. It's going to be great.

There's rail replacement buses between London and Brighton so almost no way of getting back to Nottingham post game.

12:30 KO and I have to get my son to film school for 13:30 (30-40 min round trip)

Dad had his arteries cleaned and all good.
So, just when I thought things were getting better - mum has had the ambulance out twice in three days after falling out of bed and not being able to get up.
And I've just been put on notice of redundancy.
Seriously, wtaf.

What a nightmare - hopefully some light soon

Im going to be all optimistic and say that I reckon you willl get a nice redundancy and then get a better paid job straight away as I reckon the market is picking up.
