I think it's the perceived crumbling - at first "no", then a day later "yes"

If he thought "no" - then stand by it

Didn't Iran bomb uk bases in Cyprus in between the no and the yes?

    Well, I see the argument

But, I would argue that if he believed in the no - that it was illegal - then one drone attack on a military base shouldn't have changed it.

The annoying thing is that the sane powers didn't all get together to agree on a response and then stick to it. I think there was a joint statement from Germany France and the UK - but then it was rowed back on.

Although to be fair all my info is from TRIP and I am just Parroting the views of RS - so I could easily be completely wrong. I also appreciate that it is easy for me to snipe - I would probably have answered back to Trump re the Churchill comment - which is one of the many reasons I should never be PM.

As soon as it started getting rainy over winter I discovered the gutters on my bay window leak. Getting some damp in the living room from it. I then discovered they are wooden. Weird. Bit of research and it seems you're meant to treat them every few years to keep them in good nick and functional. Having only moved in 8-9 months ago I didn't realise. Have had to put up with it for the last few months as it's not been warm and dry enough to do anything. Today I have been laying flat on the bay window roof scraping them out with a wire brush and I've now just put wood preserver on. Give it 24 hours then I'm going to coat it with bitumen type product and hope for the best. The quotes I have had to replace them with plastic ones have been in the £1500-2000 range! Mainly as they're quite ornate and would be tricky to detach / replace etc. I did buy some ladders to try and have a go but living on a steep hill makes using them a bit tricky on that side of the house.

Despite apparently only being on delivery 107 (with me being 116) Ryan has just delivered. Well done him for finding the correct door.

Darren delivered yesterday to the hiding place I suggested were we not in. Trouble is, we were in. So I spent ten minutes calling him a lying cunt (not in a nice way) before checking the photograph.

I know we’ve done this many times in the past, but what’s annoying me AGAIN is the media wankfest over the Oscars.

That is annoying. My friend was supposed to be flying to Adelaide via Doha, they got canceled. Now she's going via San Francisco on a shittier airline for more money.

And she still ends up in Adelaide. Sucks to be her.

My sister was planning to take her son to Dubai at Easter. That's obviously not possible now so she managed to get her money back on the flights and hotel, and has booked Boston (not Lincolnshire) instead.

That strikes me as a far more interesting trip.

"We care about the environment we have a no-clean policy unless you request a room refresh".

No, you're cutting costs but charging me the same price. Having said that, I've often found that hotel housekeeping either comes stupidly early before you've even left the hotel, or you arrive back in your room to find it still not cleaned, and they knock as soon as you settle down for a middle-aged nap. On occasions I've left the room with the cleaning trolley right outside, and returned a couple of hours later to find the room still not serviced.

I often wonder what sort of person needs their room cleaning on a daily basis. I do my own every six months, or so.
