Fcuk Christmas and fcuk 2025. Bah fcukin humbug.
My eldest (16, has autism and suffers from chronic pain) smashed her GCSEs in the summer, but has really struggled with the change/transition to A-levels. Has attempted suicide twice in the last three months, just diagnosed with severe depression and put on anti-depressants, but not really started working yet
Anyway, her beloved pet rabbit was taken ill yesterday, spent the night at the animal hospital and died this morning. On Christmas fcukin Eve.
(7am call, "he's had a stable night, but no improvement", 9am call "he's in cardiac arrest and we're doing chest compressions, do you want us to continue?")(also my mum has increasingly gone a bit loopy this year (multiple falls, three lengthy hospital stays) and was formally diagnosed with Alzheimer's last week).
Sorry to post such a depressing fcukin thread on Christmas Eve, but better to vent to some imaginary webmongs than dump it on my wife (who is having to deal with it all as well).
