We're £1k in credit and have already had £300 back
We were about £1k in credit at the end of September, so they’ve cut our monthly bill by £90.
Found myself increasingly annoyed with Dyche post match interview with Colin Fray (and to be clear I am a big fan of the Dyche appointment). But hes pushing me with his footbalese - since when has making a substitution been referred to as 'activating a player from the bench'? WTF?!?!
We've had a problem for a while with our heating not working well at the same time as the hot water tank is being fed.
Got a heating company out two weeks ago to quote to fix the problem and they suggested they could send an engineer out for day to examine the problem and make a recommendation. Now they've decided they are "no longer providing that service". Which it feels like they could have said at the time.
If it's too much hassle, then just tell us up front and we'll move on.
Who still has hot water tanks?
Wrong'uns.
I have a hot water tank, and I'm a fucking good boy.
Second a in the wrong place there mate.
We have a hot water tank in an invented system.
Our ageing boiler finally gave up last summer and we swapped a traditional system for a combi. Freed up a bunch of space in the airing cupboard and loft, I tell thee.
Exciting discussion, this one.
The whole hot water thing is about to change. The average house will need three electric water heaters, one for the shower, one for the kitchen sink and one for the bathroom sink.
Heating is going to move away from water pumped systems back to storage heaters as an alternative to battery storage from solar.
The future of plumbing, today.
You only find water-filled radiator heating in very old houses over here, the vast majority of homes have forced air in which air is heated by a gas or electric furnace and pumped through ducts to the various rooms. Not only is it better for actual heating because the heat is distributed far more effectively in each room, but it also serves air conditioning through the house in the hot months.
Everything is better in Canada.
The football is appreciably worse. But apart from that yeah.
The winters?
...this is a rich anti-romans seam to mine.
