I don't remember a single song by them, but I do remember liking them.

For some reason David Gedge, lead singer, followed me on Twitter. That and his giving singing over a backing track on Top of the Pops exactly the amount of respect it deserves are the main things I know and love about about them.

I remember seeing them at Reading Festival back in the 90's, they were dogshit, except they did do a rather excellent cover version of the theme from Cheers.

Just got back from an ale and cider fest at Weston super mare and have learnt that I am too old for it.

Also learnt that the random number generator is a stupid way to pick your beers.

I love the idea of it, but in reality I like to stop at four pints

This seems slightly surprising, I would have thought it would be a bigger ball of goo than this but they do seem to have done the math.

The maths is correct, so I presume you're disputing the volume of a liquidised human?

I am indeed. And the average volume of humans. And the ability to stick liquidised bits together at that density.

Also, current number of humans = 8,053,162,200+

I refuse to have "how much volume does a liquidised human require?" in my search history, so it's going to have to remain one of life's unknowns.

I think we can both agree that liquidizing the whole of humanity would be a good thing for the planet, but extremely logistically challenging.

62kg puts the average human at about 10% less than me.. which seems legit given how many are poor/children.

I thought tricky was just pointing out that liquidised humanity looks like a bollock.

Some sort of giant muck spreader to fertilise the world.

    Or a fire pit.

And significantly increase your appetite, so my old man tells me. He's had to really watch how much food he eats apparently.
