Is there any point to the wordle thread? Are you all checking each other’s performance?

It used to annoy @Ingo - not sure if it still does
I'm not taking any chances.
There seems to be a core group on there on a daily basis. No different to any of the other niche threads. Harmless engagement.
I’m more of a worldle guy, myself.
That you can actually get a parking ticket in your driveway if a public footpath crosses it. No me neither....
Chicago: Baffled.
Schrodinger's driveway. Both belonging to you, and a public right of way.
Was the ticket for encroaching on the public footpath?
So much so that you can't spell it? [Winky thing doing an old-school crossword]
Not so much what I have learned today, but it occurs to me that about the only positive development from this hideous season has been the fact that I can now consistently pronounce and spell Andrew Omobamidele's name - something I definitely could not do for several weeks after he signed.
It's a low bar, I admit, but marginal gains and all that.
I'm mildly disappointed that O'Mobamidele didn't catch on despite my half arsed efforts.
Stephen Hendry owns the snooker club where I play. He films his You Tube channel in a private room and he was there today doing some filming. Unfortunately, I didn't play like Hendry today, but was only narrowly defeated by my friend.
I don't quite know why, but I find people calling Taiwo Awoniyi "Tai" deeply annoying. Possibly the person who says it is deeply annoying.
Also grates me when she does it too. I wouldn't mind if the players call him that, and that's why she does it. Do they? Or has she just made it up?
SSC used to call him Tai in interviews. Perhaps that’s where it comes from?
Didn't he just call him "T"?
Oh yes. I’ve definitely heard someone call him Tai. I think.
