Musk only owns 13% of Tesla. There must be a point where institutional investors decide he’s too damaging to the brand and remove him from the board.

It probably doesn’t matter, as the brand is synonymous with him. Plus a lot of the driving force behind the anti-Tesla movement is driven by people attacking his wealth, not his job title. I don’t know if Tesla crashing to a rational valuation fucks him to a useful extent, given his other interests, but it’s got to be worth a try.
They should have fired him as CEO when they saw that the first time he exercised significant personal influence over an actual product, they got Cybertruck.

Allegedly, it was designed by one of their top design bods (long time in the industry, won awards and that) but I have more than a sneaking suspicion that they had to make the best of The Car Built for Elon.

He’s also in the same bracket as Paul Ryan and a whole lot of other right-wingers (Rage Against the Machine, Robocop, etc) for having fuck all media literacy (or thinking Ayn Rand was a genius). He claims his favourite book growing up was The Hitch-Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. As an almost life-long fan, I cannot fathom how you can so spectacularly misread the story of Golgafrincham.
tl;dr: Tech Bros are weird dudes who may actually kill us all.

I like how he’s trying to frame it as if Elno is just not able to give enough time to Tesla… as if that’s the issue. Of course, nothing whatsoever has changed in what Tesla is doing during the period of stock decline… although, admittedly, it’s one of the most overvalued companies in history and that is because Elno is good at getting people to believe his bullshit so, on reflection, maybe I am wrong and what people holding Tesla stock really do need is him focussed on lying about his company to keep people convinced that there’s a greater fool around the corner.
Alas, for anyone with a lot of money tied up in Tesla.. Musk is both the only reason that stock is worth far more than it should be.. and also the the only reason it’s presently worth far less than it was.

If you listen very carefully to the end of "Time to Pretend" by MGMT, you can hear the piano riff from "Dancing Queen" by ABBA. Apparently when they remixed the track for the album version they altered the BPM slightly and it turned out to be exactly the same as Dancing Queen. It's well hidden.
