Seems like something you could test out this evening.

I've long since retired from that sort of caper.

Ingo would probably be well up for it though.

That Jordan Smith now plays for Hibernian. His debut last night was a 3-3 draw against Aberdeen where three goals were scored in injury time at the end if the match - 92nd, 95th and 96th minutes to be precise.

Wiki tells me he played no games for Stockport, having moved there last summer after being released by Forest.

What the fuck is this bollocks? Clearly I haven't been paying attention to the champions league format changes but this is ridiculous:

I too thought it was shite, but City are 17th so I'm getting on board with it.

TBF, I too thought it was a terrible idea, but the for the first time in years we've had some decent early round games

Its looked entirely bent to me. Every round has a couple of obvious television friendly ties (almost exactly two a day), and the other, largely duff, ties are hidden behind the cupboard, where only close family and friends can unlock them and see their hideous deformity. All make endless streams of money, to little net gain, apart from completely destroying community based football for all time.

Been trying a few zero-alcohol beers recently. Guinness is a good one. Doom Bar is a very bad one.

I've tried a few NA beers but they're not for me. I'd rather just drink fizzy water if I'm not having booze.

I'd sooner limit consumption of them but unfortunately my body doesn't seem so good at processing alcohol these days. Annoying.

I quite like hop water...and zero alcohol beer is much more palatable to me than a sweetened orange juice or a fizzy pop (which tend to be the pub options). It's a much better drink to have a lot of, than most other things...if you are out and can't have alcohol.

    I also drink soda water.

I think this also applies to the full fat version these days.

Guinness 0% is the one. Feels like a proper drink.

This is really nice as an alcohol-free short. Has ginger and chilli and a dash of vinegar, so gives a back of the throat feel that's got a bit of an alcohol vibe. Criminally expensive, though, considering there's no alcohol duty on it.

Ginger shots are a thing, I'm led to believe. It shouldn't be beyond the wit of man to whip up a home made version of that at a fraction of the price.

Which is probably not the point.
