Great effort from Elanga but you don't score from there bar a Turner-esque calamity.

2nd Phillips yellow - hmm. Challenging for a bouncing ball. Didn't look late or reckless. Looked worse in slow motion. Oh well.

I was screaming about this in the stadium. I'm addition Origi didn't track back as well. It was a very strange decision.

He played Origi wide in an earlier game (can’t remember which) when we had no wingers available and he did pretty well.
Also, Elanga has been possibly our best finisher all season (not yesterday obviously) so I can see the thinking. -

Just watched the Sky highlights and saw the disallowed goal that loops over Areola.
Given as offside, and Yates is indeed standing on the goal line in an offside position as the ball is pinged in, then again as the ball bounces up, but he doesn't interfere with Areola's flap at the ball, doesn't touch the ball, doesn't block Areola's view of the ball. Why offside?
