Deserved win.
Slightly concerned as MGW appeared to be booked in the aftermath of the second. And he’d already got a yellow in the game. Wasn’t shown a red but could be banned for Villa?

Don't worry about that we have Reyna
What did they play at full time this week? And were there fireworks?
Forest all over the world
If he wasn't shown a red then presumably the yellow was for someone else.
BBC has Neco, MGW, Taiwo and Dominguez all booked. The last two were long since off the field by the time of the second goal, and Neco's yellow was for a tackle midway through the second. Are you sure it wasn't for a West Ham player?
Edit: if the BBC is right, Morgan wasn't on the pitch for the second goal, he'd been subbed a minute earlier for Omobamidele.
MGW had been subbed. But ref came over to dugout to show the card. Possibly for the celebrations.
Nuno was booked for protesting about the not-penalty if that’s when you mean?
One of the assistants was booked not MGW. He ran all the way down the touchline to join in the pile on celebrations after second goal.
Great performance and atmosphere today against a piss poor West Ham.
If anyone could find a non region-locked vid of the second goal that would be appreciated. The first goal was so good in so many ways.
Was Tavares (at least at times) the fabled inverted full back today?
I wouldn't say so, he played advanced for a lot of the game but he held to the touchline pretty closely except in the last third.
A few other thoughts.
Origi looked really bright in his cameo, in particular he played a couple of very clever little flicks that opened up attacking moves.
Other than Neco's ill judged tackle on the edge of the box we did an excellent job of standing up and not surrendering free kicks in dangerous places.
On that note, I've warmed a little to JWP this season but today was a perfect example of why he shouldn't be anywhere near the England side. In open play he's really mediocre with little ability and/or inclination to take control of midfield, and a disciplined side that doesn't give him dead ball opportunities can render him somewhat pointless. Morgan should be far ahead of him in Southgate's thinking.
I don't really see how our record signing gets back in the team next week. Dominguez and Danilo were both excellent, although I expect McGinn will give them more to think about than Ward-Prowse did.
On another day Elanga could have had a hattrick, he was undone by two good stops from Areola and a fluffed effort when he was through. Assuming we get a decent set of highlights on MOTD, look out for his second half volleyed attempt from the right side of the box after he miscontrolled the initial pass. I don't think you'll see a more sweetly hit shot in any game today.
I didn't see "Forest [missed pen]" on the match report.
