Must win., (Tricky loves that one…).

Coming off a 6-0 tonking at the Arse. Wet ham welcome back some players which is annoying. Pacquetta likely back. Maybe we won’t pass to him like Bruno.

Must not give away set pieces (see Ryan Yates….)

Attack, attack attack. Don’t give lord Prowse or Kunis the ball then we win.

Is Felipe able to play now so he can head the ball?

Can we keep a clean sheet?

    Can we fuck.

3-1 to the Mighty Reds. (Although the smart money could be another 3-2)

    Chicago: Rageless and hopeful.

No AFCON finalists sez Nuno. So probably unchanged?

    Another 3-2 loss for me.

    Rumblings of Nuno out start.

Whatever the result I expect we'll be pissed off with the refereeing and VAR again.

Have we given anyone a right tonking since we got back to the Big Table? I don’t think so. Even Sheff U and Luton have at least once. It’s time.

    4-0 Forest.
Nuno for Supreme Leader! Nuno out!

Was thinking last night that the last comfortable, "sit back and enjoy the last 20 minutes with no stress" game, aside from the two League cup games last season at Blackburn and Grimsby (which I don't really count), was Swansea in April 22. Luton should have been but ...

....... the manager decided to change tactics with 15 minutes to go and invite Luton to throw everything at us. Which, as the league is now well aware, is exactly what Luton want to do.

I see lots of talk online that we are playing better football now than under Cooper.

It is perhaps nicer to watch as we attack a bit more and score goals, but that has come at the expense of conceding 2-3 goals per game.

Seems to me it is better in the fact that losing a game 3-2 is a better watch than losing a game 1-0 (not always but often better watch).

    But ultimately it's a loss.

We just need to stop conceding cheaply and we'll be fine seems to miss the point that we can't keep the attacking intent and also stop conceding. Players we have just don't seem good enough.

Cooper reacted a number of times to our inabliity to defend by shutting up shop and playing an extra defensive player. Nuno hasn't done that (yet?) but that's only ok if he can sort out the defence with the current balance of players.

Not if he keeps picking Montiel and Tavares to 'defend'

Listening to the latest Forest Focus today, they were discussing that we have the best "expected goals conceded" outside of something like Arsenal and Man City over the last six games. As in, strange as it may seem to say, our defense is actually doing ok. It's set pieces and amazing goals that are doing us in. Which does feel about right. I can't recall getting cut open many times.

Isn't an alternative that with a normal defence these chances are low xG but our defence/keeper is so shit that the xG for same chance against Forest is much higher than other teams.

A teams xG is wrong, if it doesn't reflect the number of goals they score. it's just a pompous derivative of "Oh my god, my granny could have scored that".

I guess. But it's better than being at the bottom of the expected goals conceded metric i.e. you're giving your opposition shit loads of easy chances every game.
