    As I think you've said before, we have essentially 8 games left as I only see 4 defeats in May.

    On different tack I know views are mixed on booing at the end, but last night a significant number in Main Stand were applauding the players at the end. I almost got into a row with a woman as walked past her remarking why the fuck are people clapping them that was shit.

    We failed to beat and score against a team that will go down as the second worst team in PL history. We only had three efforts of real note. But if we’d beat either Palace or Leeds he wouldn’t have been sacked.

    West Ham bloody lost 3-0 to them. They drew with Newcastle. Man City only beat them 2-0 at home. They aren't the complete shambles they were under whoever their old manager was.

    To be fair they were by far the worst Premier League team I've ever seen at the City Ground.

    Maybe they were applauding them for the effort they clearly put in. There might've been a couple of poor performances but everyone was trying out there - Anderson, MGW, Williams, Aina, Sangare in particular.

    Well they did a good impression of looking an utter fucking shambles last night. They must have passed it to us on the edge of their box at least 5 times and were absolutely awful.

    They were about on the level of Malmo just trying to keep the score down. Unfortunately they succeeeded better. But, again, I can't see how players failing to take any of those chances is on the manager.

    Or just relieved it was over and they could go home.

    I think that's where I'm at. If we'd scored that 5 on 1 (FIVE ON ONE!) for example, he's probably still in a job.

    You think? I'm far from convinced.

    Every one of the useless cunts that took one or more of the 35 shots.

    I dont think Aina was trying last night. He looked either unfit or unwilling. I am not sure which. Last night none of them looked like they were playing as a team.

    How did they manage to completely dominate* the opposition then?

    * Goalscoring aside.

    good question- brings to mind the question I always ask when shown data - what is the data not telling us? Could be that we had lots of passing around haphazardly, lots of huff and puff, lots of balls played into safe places or shots into goalkeepers hands.

    What I didnt see a lot of evidence of was communication and teamwork

    When Aina spammed that left footed shot from about 30 yards as many yards wide I wondered if it would be an idea to bring Netz on for him with Neco swapping sides, giving us a left footed curling away from the keeper crossing option as opposed to CHO cutting inside and offering Sa catching practice.
    Knew it would never happen though.
