It was very frustrating but it wasn't the tactics or the team selection wot done it. We just aren't very good playing with 60% possession against a team trying to hit us on the break. It was the same under Nuno and it is true now. We don't have enough good finishers in the team. If fact it's arguable without Wood we don't have any. However I am not pessimistic. We are till 3 points above West Ham and 2 behind Spurs. And we are 8th in the form table over 6 games. The problem being that West Ham are 7th. But Spurs are 20th.

For all the good stuff MGW does I wonder if we need to move on from him at some point. He doesn't do enough to open up defences when we have possession. His specialty imo is running with the ball, on the break, and picking a through ball. Like last season. I'm not convinced he can adapt to be an effective creative force when we have lots of possession and the opposition sits deep.

To be fair, on five live, he went out of the way to make it clear he took responsibility (albeit along with the players) and didn't blame the crowd.
That said, all season, our home crowd has been largely shit. The atmosphere has been nothing like the previous couple of years

There was a clamour for Hutchinson to play tonight from a lot of fans. It was pretty clear to me tonight why he hasn't been playing. He was fucking awful. Can't believe the manager didnt take him off.

Sometimes. And more as a defensive option without supporting the fullback. Hutchinson at least pinned them back. CHO is also pretty miserable. Our front 4 options have all been miserable this season in myriad ways.
