Why don’t you read my post? I’m not asking for him to be sacked.

I didn't say that you did. What might be true is the widespread lack of support, and the sort of things that people are saying (that I personally don't recognise as objectively fair), might very well lead to that outcome.

So we might need to consider the consequences of our actions.

Dyche undoubtedly arrived at Forest in difficult circumstances, but he appeared to steady the ship after a poor run of results under Postecoglou, winning seven of his first 12 games.

If results were taken from when Dyche took over, Forest would be mid-table, six points above third-from-bottom Tottenham.

He was even nominated for Premier League manager of the month a week ago, with two wins and one loss from their past six matches.

1.222 (recurring) points per game. Will be interesting to see what that looks like from this point.

How the fuck do you get nominated for MOTM with a record of 7 points from 18?

I'll be taking the under for the new manager.
That might still be good enough to ensure survival as I reckon that 38 points would still be good enough to achieve that target. That would mean 11 points from the last 12 matches.
I'm just amazed that given how dreadful our recruitment has been this year, Edu is still carrying on as if nothing had happened.

I'm not sure that points total will get the job done this season.

The same one, minus Elanga and Wood and plus a ton of broader options, that almost made the Champions League last season?

No it's a statement of fact. Unless you think that checks notes Anthony Omobamidele and Danilo were the straws that stirred the drink last season.

I assumed it was a 'styling', given that you could have equally said:

The same squad that finished the season getting only seven points from the last eight games, shorn of the two players with the leagues highest number of goal involvements to be replaced with a couple of development players, and having to meet the demands of a European campaign with no additional recruits with league experience.

And I genuinely gave you credit for actually not being that retarded. My apologies.

2 points from Wolves, Palace and Leeds was shocking. That night in Braga meaning two extra games. Wrexham. The Everton games.

The football has also been dire.

He’s not got sacked because of the incompetence last night, but in general.

It’s high stakes but recent results don’t suggest we were staying up.

Last night was the tenth time a Dyche side in the Premier League has had over 60% possession.

Of those ten games, it was the 4th draw.

    He lost the rest.

4 points from the ten games his side dominated possession. That's D*rby territory.

There was a clamour for Hutchinson to play tonight from a lot of fans. It was pretty clear to me tonight why he hasn't been playing. He was fucking awful. Can't believe the manager didnt take him off.

It'll be Macatee the fans want next, despite all of the preceeding evidence.

There's a reason why Dominguez plays. Because he's better than the others.

It’s been clear for a while that currently Hutchinson is great when he comes on but struggles when starting. He’s young and should get better over time but on current form shouldn’t be starting.

And as a side I keep hearing people bang on about our 36 shots, most were poor efforts from range, CHO played a few nice back passes to Sa, whose only real save was the prod from Morato after Jesus effort hit him.

What I found odd about last night was for the past few months we have been lumping into Jesus, who has been far too small for any of it, so we get a lump upfront and stopped doing this.
